The estranged wife of a Columbia man who was shot and killed in 2004 and buried in an unmarked rural grave has been charged with first-degree murder.

Tausha L. Fields, 33, of Dickerson, Texas, was arrested Friday in Galveston County, Texas, said Detective Tom O'Sullivan of the Boone County Sheriff's Department. She is being held on a $1 million cash- only bond awaiting extradition, O'Sullivan said.
