Three Columbia men were arrested early this morning in connection with an attempted home invasion in the northeast part of the city.
Officer Jessie Haden of the Columbia Police Department said Robert Dye, 21, Patrick Onyenwere, 21, and Hurlee McHenry, 19, were in a vehicle that was stopped as officers responded at 12:20 a.m. to a report of an attempted break-in at 809 Moss St. The suspects allegedly were trying to enter the rear of the house but were thwarted by a resident shouting out the front door for help, Haden said.See the full content of this document
