Before the first blast of winter struck this week, the weather was frightfully warm as December approached. It can be difficult to feel immersed inthe holiday spirit when it's still T-shirt weather outside. But the fickleness of Mother Nature hasn't stopped the homeowners participating in the 23rd annual Holiday House Tour from gussying up their interiors to evoke a wintryfeeling.
The Holiday House Tour - a fundraising event for the Women's SymphonyLeague of the Missouri Symphony Society - is an open-house tour of five Columbia homes.
