Former Missouri track and field standout Christian Cantwell won his fifth Drake Relays shot put title with a throw of 71 feet, 31/4 inches yesterday in Des Moines, Iowa. Cantwell tied Al Feuerbach for the most all-time Drake shot put titles. Feuerbach won his in the 1970s.

Cantwell connected on his season-best throw on his fifth attempt. He took a victory lap as he received a standing ovation from the crowd.
