LAKE OF THE OZARKS - Having a history of meetings that begin at 7 p.m. and last into the wee hours of the morning, Columbia City Council members yesterday discussed how they could shorten the meetings and be more productive. The city council also discussed a Columbia Chamber of Commerce proposal that the city compensate council members for their work.
