Bill Clinton Was Acquitted in His Impeachment Trial
Two issues were in question. In regard to the obstruction of justice charge, the vote was 50-50. On the issue of perjury, the "no" vote was 55-45 as 10 Republicans crossed over. To impeach would have taken 67 "yea" votes.
