When a state Senate committee launched an investigation into the handling of water pollution data at Lake of the Ozarks, its chairman said he had been assured of "complete cooperation" by Gov. Jay Nixon's administration and Mark Templeton, the director of the Department of Natural Resources.

But state Sen. Brad Lager, R-Savannah, noted yesterday that since July 30, the Senate's Commerce, Consumer Protection and Environment Committee staff has yet to interview a single DNR employee.
