A 20-year-old Columbia man was being held this morning at the Boone County Jail after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, caused his 4-month-old child to fall and fled from police officers earlier this week.
Zachary Connor had gone to his girlfriend's home in southwest Columbia at about 10:30 a.m. Monday, and she apparently wanted him to leave, Columbia police Capt. Zim Schwartze said.
