Editor, the Tribune: Major advances in weather prediction have saved countless lives in Missouri and other Tornado Alley states. These are lives saved due to common sense and knowledge.
Last summer, Hurricane Rita churned off Texas' coast. The potential of slamming into Galveston raised the question of why anyone would choose Galveston as an area for a bio-facility. I understand that freezers containing bio-hazards are designed to withstand a great deal, but I've also seen photos depicting what a tornado can do with a piece of foam insulation.See the full content of this document
