A man accused of forcing entry into the home of an ex-girlfriend surrendered yesterday at the Boone County Sheriff's Department.
At about 4:30 a.m. Saturday, the sheriff's department said, Quincy L. Avant, 35, of Columbia pushed his way into the woman's home in the El Chaparral subdivision and assaulted her.
