A Columbia man was injured yesterday afternoon when his vehicle struck a tree along Highway 40 near Rocheport.
Around 3:20 p.m., Anthony E. Stanton, 37, was driving eastbound about a half-mile west of Shady Hills Lane when he apparently fell asleep, resulting in his 2003 Ford running off the north side of the road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. The vehicle then overcorrected and drove off the south side of the road, where it struck a tree, the patrol said.See the full content of this document
