Drug Benefits Case Might Go to Courts

Summary


The city of Columbia might use the courts to recover the money spent to provide prescription drug benefits to hundreds of former employees, City Manager Bill Watkins said.

The Columbia City Council will be briefed soon in a closed meeting on the findings of an investigation into the spending, Watkins said. He said he will make the report Feb. 7, if the council has time after doing its annual evaluation of City Clerk Sheela Amin.
