Members of the public were given an opportunity yesterday to meet with the four candidates for chief of the Columbia Fire Department, a position that could be filled with the next few weeks.
On Thursday and yesterday, the candidates were in town to tour the city as well as meet with city leaders, representatives of the local firefighters union and members of the public.
