A series of unfortunate events in the life of Valentine brought him to Happy Tails. His family had broken apart, scattered throughout the country, and there was no one that could keep him. This family had tried to keep him with a family member, but the circumstances in their lives absolutely prevented them from doing so. In most cases, it simply is the easy route to take - just get rid of your dog or cat simply because you don't want to bother or be inconvenienced. But with "Val's" family it was unavoidable.
