Summary
I have been a frequent grocery shopper since I was 13, when my mother would hand me a blank check and send me off on my bike to the supermarket. Little did she know I soon became a trustworthy face to all of the employees, who allowed me to write the checks for $5 above the purchase price, thus fueling my fairly significant addiction to comic books.
Over the years, grocery shopping has become more complicated. The neighborhood market has been replaced by the mega-grocer-liquor- pharmacy, which has given way to the corporate superfood- delicatessen-patio-furniture-quantum-mall of today.
