ST. LOUIS - Ending weeks of rumors, U.S. Rep Kenny Hulshof said yesterday he is in the running to be president of the University of Missouri system.

Hulshof made the announcement as he left an hour-and-a-half interview with an advisory committee helping the UM Board of Curators pick the new president.
