Summary


I was shocked at how short a time we were actually in the Chunnel - I don't know exactly what I expected, but it was like going through a long regular tunnel.

Once we arrived at Waterloo Station, I got money from an ATM (England has not switched to the euro and still uses pounds) and bought a ticket to Sunningdale. The clerk handed me the ticket and informed me I had something like seven minutes until the train left - and I still had to find the train. I didn't have time to call Tracy so she would know when to pick me up at the station, but an off- duty train official used his cell to call her for me. When I asked him if I could pay him for the call, he refused payment.
