WHAT TO DO WITH SPRING RADISHES

Spring is the best time to buy radishes because they tend to get hot as the weather heats up. April's Bon Appetit offers these tips for use: Try them on a crudite plate with sliced fennel, celery, bell peppers, sugar snap peas and green goddess dressing. Add them to a salad nicoise of tuna, olives, steamed potatoes, blanched green beans, tomatoes, hard-boiled egg, anchovy and lettuce. Add them to your chicken salad or mix sliced radishes into a stir-fry of pork tenderloin, lime juice, chipotle peppers in adobo and green onions.
