After watching his last par putt break away from the hole - this time from about 4 feet away on the par-4 seventh - Joe Neal, fearing he'd already blown his chance of qualifying for the MSHSAA Golf Championship, simply turned his back on the cup and walked away. After seven or eight paces, he stopped, pulled off his ski cap, shook his head then returned to knock in the last of his 10 bogeys at Innsbrook Resort Golf Course.
