Summary
An Odyssey Chamber Music Series event tomorrow night combines an army of talent to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of Columbia's own Esterhazy String Quartet -- composed of Eva Szekely, violin; Susan Jensen, violin; Leslie Perna, viola; and Darry Dolezal, cello. The much-celebrated ensemble-in-residence at the University of Missouri has been delighting audiences for decades.
Adding to the magic of the evening at First Baptist Church, Esterhazy will be joined by conductor Stefan Freund, tenor Nollie Moore, violist Dustic Frieda and the members of the Columbia Civic Orchestra performing Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Four Hymns for tenor, viola, and strings." The concert will also celebrate works by Robert Schumann and Felix Mendelssohn.See the full content of this document
