I don't understand pop culture, and fortunately, it isn't necessary that I do. Yet, it is mysterious and funny. Take the Michael Richards episode, for example.
First off, let me say that Richards has a problem that goes beyond his use of the n-word during a stand-up routine at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood. A comedian of his experience should have been able to handle hecklers without an explosive loss of temper. Hecklers go with the business. Put-downs for hecklers are even listed in popular joke books.
