Summary
Natural gas rates will drop for more than 120,000 AmerenUE customers after the Missouri Public Service Commission on Thursday approved the St. Louis-based utility's rate reduction proposal to take effect Nov. 1.
AmerenUE spokesman Mike Cleary said the company services about 39,000 natural gas customers in Columbia and Boone County. He said the new adjustment will mean an average decrease of about $6 per month compared to the current rate set in June. Nonetheless, he said, customers this winter will pay about $10 per month more than last winter because of higher wholesale supplier rates.See the full content of this document
