Boone County Republicans are taking nominations for a new award in honor of former Presiding Commissioner Ed Robb.
The nonpartisan Dr. Edward H. Robb Boone County Public Servant of the Year award will be presented at the annual Lincoln Day dinner Feb. 25. It will recognize outstanding service of a public employee in Boone County. Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m. Feb. 3, and forms are available on the Boone County Republican Central Committee's website, www.boonecountyrepublicans.com.
