The El Chaparral subdivision just east of Columbia has been getting increased attention from the Boone County Sheriff's Department for the past few months, and now the Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services is starting to take notice of the neighborhood.
The Boone County Commission yesterday approved an order for the health department's environmental health division to have junk removed from the yard at 1321-1323 Roseta Ave. The cost of the nuisance abatement -- the 23rd abatement order issued by the county commission this year -- would be added as a special assessment to the owner's property tax bill.See the full content of this document
