Keeping the ball away from the opposition is vital to the success of the Hickman girls soccer team. The Kewpies witnessed the results of successfully, and unsuccessfully, executing their possession offense in a season-opening 4-2 defeat of Pembroke Hills yesterday on Robert M. LeMone Field.

After falling behind 2-0, Hickman scored four unanswered goals in the final 40 minutes to claim its first victory of 2009.
