Editor, the Tribune: I am concerned about the article on Nov. 18 in regard to a Civilian Review Committee of the Columbia Police Department. I believe the statistics stated by the department regarding the number of disciplinary actions taken against them is not accurately represented.

I have filed four separate incident complaints regarding officers' behavior over the past few years. All four reports were handled by the department with either neglect or attempted intimidation. The fourth complaint I filed resulted in the discipline of one officer.
