"A lot of people tell me this is my therapy," says Kim Krieckhaus as she looks out across her 26-acre farm, which is bathed in warming, midmorning sunlight and no noisier than a whisper of wind. "I get therapy every day."
For about five years, the Alaska native has run Willow Pond Farms north of Columbia. She started the business shortly after relocating to the area with her husband, Jonathan.
