An appeals court reversed the conviction of Steven Rios today and ordered that he receive a new trial in connection with the 2004 death of University of Missouri-Columbia student Jesse Valencia.
The Western District of the Missouri Court of Appeals ruled that the Boone County trial court erred in allowing two hearsay comments from the victim during the trial in 2005.See the full content of this document
