Summary


Being the first true freshman running back to play at Kansas State since Darren Sproles in 2001, it's fitting that Leon Patton also shares some of Sproles' attributes.

The 5-foot-7, 184-pound Patton pinballed off tacklers as Missouri's defenders struggled to bring him down whether he was running, catching a pass or returning a kick. Patton finished the game with 112 yards rushing and a touchdown, caught two passes for 38 yards and returned five kicks for 124 yards.
