A Columbia woman was arrested yesterday after police discovered drugs in a central-city home. Police said the suspect tried to eat a small amount of marijuana to destroy the evidence.

Columbia police said two search warrants for cocaine were served at 5 and 5:45 p.m. yesterday at 402 and 316 LaSalle Place, respectively.
