Helias Athletic Director Stan Ochsner might just be on to something.

According to a Thursday story in the Jefferson City News Tribune, Ochsner plans to implement a nine-day "dead period" during the summer for all Helias athletes. From June 28-July 6, athletic facilities at the school will be closed and no contact will be allowed between coaches and athletes.
