By a unanimous decision, the Columbia Planning and Zoning Commission last night voted against a rezoning request for 31.25 acres abutting the COLT Railroad southwest of Highway 63 and east of Brown Station Road in the name of preserving land within the city for industrial uses.
The land is zoned for a mix of "controlled industrial" and research, development and office park uses.
