Playing in the Mid-Missouri Invitational is supposed to be a grind. Three tennis matches in two days should wear out any team, even under ideal conditions.

Throw in two rain delays, one match that was divided up over the course of both days and an injury to a team's key member, and the Rock Bridge boys tennis team should have been exhausted after beating Lafayette 8-1 in yesterday's championship match. But although the Bruins were physically exhausted - one player jokingly told Coach Ben Loeb that the team should get the next three days of practice off - none of the Bruins looked burnt out.
