RED LAKE, Minn. - After four days of combing through a vast wooded stretch of land but finding no sign of two young brothers who went missing on the Red Lake Indian Reservation, authorities said yesterday they are likely to scale back the air and ground search later today.

The pending decision follows the most intensive and expansive day of searching for Tristan White, 4, and Avery Lee Stately, 2. The effort included dive teams from three counties, unmanned aerial vehicles peering overhead and about 100 professionals, plus scores of volunteers, withstanding below-freezing temperatures looking for the boys.
