Slouching Toward the Equinox

Summary


Nearly every Wednesday, after the newspaper's deadline is met and our news section has been put to bed, a few of us bundle up and head out for a 30-minute walk. The "Wednesday Walks" were much more popular during the summery season when they began last year.

But even deep in the winter some of us have intermittently continued, mostly because Business Editor Justin Willett coaxes and cajoles, making this brief exercise his personal quest to keep us desk jockeys a little more fit. While the walks keep us moving, they are also a good time to chill -- so to speak -- with colleagues.
