Teacher Groups Win Face Time with School Board

Summary


For the first time at a Columbia Board of Education meeting, two recognized teacher organizations will have their own segment for comment before the school board tomorrow night.

"I think it's setting the tone for Columbia to move forward in a really positive way to get things done for the kids," said Laura Sandstedt, president of Columbia Public Schools Employee Organization, formerly the Columbia Community Teachers' Association.
