He continues to put the best possible face on the situation in Iraq, but President George W. Bush seems more resigned of late.

Last week, as he hailed the "new" government in Iraq, he said he knew why Americans were growing tired of the war, and with British Prime Minister Tony Blair at his side he actually admitted some errors in his conduct of the war. He seemed more contrite, a new stance for this president.
