An 81-year-old man who lives in southwest Columbia is the third confirmed human case of West Nile virus in Boone County this year.
The Columbia/Boone County Health Department confirmed the case this morning, and crews began spraying areas west of Scott Boulevard, north of Georgetown Drive, east of Perche Creek and south of West Broadway to kill mosquitoes, which carry the virus.See the full content of this document
