Millikin University Choir from Decatur, Ill., will perform a concert at 7 p.m. Jan. 19 at First Baptist Church, 1112 E. Broadway. The performance will include an appearance by the Rock Bridge High School Chamber Choir.
The event, announced Monday in an e-mail, is part of the University Choir's annual winter tour showcasing "its reputation for innovative programming and tonal variety with repertoire spanning five centuries." The choir's touring history includes performances in Scandinavia, Russia, Haiti, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, England, China and Taiwan.
