Editor, the Tribune: This is in response to the July 8 "Tribune's View" on trailer parks.

Of course tenants don't want to move - most cannot afford it. Many are retired and on a fixed income, so they choose the "trailer park" - it is cheaper than most places, and mobile homes are easier to maintain than other housing. The $600 proposed for each isn't enough to think about moving. Because of some homes' age, no other park will take them. I hardly think this will benefit the community, as folks might have to turn to social services.
