Editor, the Tribune: I recently received a polished publication, almost 20 pages long, with color photos and professional writing from Ed Robb. It was labeled a legislative update and directory but was obviously a campaign piece. I searched the "update" to determine who paid for the booklet and could not find that it was paid for by the Robb campaign. If not, that means taxpayers paid for this expensive publication.
My question is: What did this cost you and me? I appreciate receiving updates, but this publication was ridiculous. Coming out in late September, it was clearly meant to influence the election, not inform the citizens. I certainly don't see this as being fiscally conservative.See the full content of this document
