A water main break at about 6 a.m. today at 1307 W. Broadway shut down water to about 50 homes, Columbia Water and Light spokeswoman Connie Kacprowicz said.
Kacprowicz said the break occurred about seven feet from where water and light crews were working yesterday to replace a service line, but it was unusual because rather than a burst pipe, water was coming from a perfect hole in the pipe about the size of a soda can.See the full content of this document
