Summary
I remember the first time I read Wendell Berry. I was so overwhelmed by his good sense, his eloquence, his logic and his knowledge that I felt like writing only one final column, which would contain a single sentence repeated over and over: "Read Wendell Berry."
Alas, I have to make a living, so despite Berry saying everything I thought or was trying to think about 1,000 times better than I could say it, I continue to write. The good news is that you're not stuck with me.
